Teams

In Lingotek teams can be created. These teams are typically used to organize people into groups that can then be assigned documents. 

Teams can be created and managed by Community Admins or Project Managers. 

There is also a setting that can be enabled within the Community that allows translators to control which teams they join and leave.  This ability does not allow a translator to create a team. If your community has this setting enabled then you can use the following instructions for managing which teams you exist on. 

On your Lingotek homepage you will see the leaderboard towards the bottom half of the screen. On the leaderboard you will see a link for View All Teams.

 

Clicking on the link will take you to another screen where you can see your teams along with other teams that are in the community. On this screen you can also see the Team Captain and how many members are on each team.

1.  Mine - This box shows the teams that have you as a member.

2. Community - These are the other teams that are available within the community. Notice that your team also shows up in the list.

3. Leave - This allows you to leave any of the teams that contain your membership.

Join a team

1. Click on the desired team you wish to join.

After clicking on the team you will see the details page for that team. Click the "Join" button when viewing the details page of the desired team.

Take some time to see if there are teams within your community that you may be interested in joining.
