When you log in, you will be brought to the Collaborative Translation Platform Home Page.

 


1 - Translate Now

Some translators may have a hard time deciding which document they should be working on first. If enabled the Translate Now button will take the translator to the highest priority document that has been assigned to them. This allows the translator to be taken directly to the Lingotek workbench. 

2 - Tasks vs Categories

Tasks - By default all translators will see the Tasks they have been assigned. These are assigned to the translator by the Project Manager.

Categories - If the Community is setup to use the Categories option, the project managers have the option to assign documents to specific categories. The translator can then select Categories instead of Tasks and they will then be able to pick the type of document they want to work based off of it's category. 

3 - Available Tasks

This section is where you will find all of the tasks that you have open to work on. Within this section you can see a variety of information including word count, phase type, Assignee (Assigned vs Community) and a document completion percentage. By clicking on the link you can open the task in the workbench and begin your work.

4 - Leaderboard

The leaderboard shows you how different translators or teams are doing within your community. You can see the top members in your community and compare them to your own statistics.

5 - Personal Statistics

Using our built in scoring system you can see how well you are doing. By performing more work you can increase your score and overall statistics. 

6 - Send Invitation

If enabled, you can send a personal invitation to your friends and colleagues to join your Lingotek Community. This button opens a pop-up box that allows you to input a friends information and send them a personalized invitation.
