LingoDex Quick Keys

Many of the functions in LingoDex can be accessed by Quick Keys, to allow translators to work more quickly.

Translation Accelerator Keys

  • Alt+(down arrow), Alt+> (Ctrl+> for Mac), Ctrl+Shift+n - Move to the next segment
  • Alt+(up arrow), Alt+< (Ctrl+< for Mac), Ctrl+Shift+p - Move to the previous segment
  • Ctrl+Shift+v - Copy and paste the contents of the Source Pane into the Target Pane
  • Ctrl+Shift+x - Remove all changes to the segment made in the current session
  • Alt+[0-9] (AppleKey+[0-9] for Mac) - Paste search results 1-10 from the Hits tab (Alt+0 pastes number 10)
  • Alt+g (Ctrl+g for Mac) - Paste Goole translation from the Hits tab (only available for supported language pairs)
  • Alt+h (Ctrl+h for Mac) - Jump to Hits tab
  • Alt+f (Ctrl+f for Mac) - Jump to Formatting tab
  • Alt+i (Ctrl+i for Mac) - Jump to Dictionary tab
  • Alt+j (Ctrl+j for Mac) - Scroll Resources window down
  • Alt+n (Ctrl+n for Mac) - Jump to Notes tab
  • Alt+v (Ctrl+v for Mac) - Jump to Versions tab
  • Alt+r (Ctrl+r for Mac) - Jump to Find/Replace tab
  • Alt+u (Ctrl+u for Mac) - Scroll Resources Window up
  • Esc - Toggle between Edit Mode and Command Mode

Formatting Accelerator Keys (Can only be used when Formatting tab is selected)

  • Alt+s (Ctrl+s for Mac) - Move to the next format tag
  • Alt+w (Ctrl+w for Mac) - Move to the previous format tag
  • Alt+z (Ctrl+z for Mac) - Apply the selected format tag
  • Alt+x (Ctrl+x for Mac) - Remove the selected format tag
