Job Description:

Lingotek provides web based translation tools that allow companies to move translation services and translation project management online. Services we provide include translation project management, collaborative translation using volunteer communities, professional translation services, and technologies such as natural language processing, translation memories, and machine translation.

Role:

The Technical Account Manager position requires a strong technical aptitude and 2-4 years of experience managing enterprise software accounts. As an Technical Account Manager, you will review, analyze, and evaluate IT systems, act as a liaison to accounts for localization engineering tasks including using tools such as Okapi, or sed regular expression find and replace. You will gather requirements, and maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts. You will demonstrate our application to potential new clients and help devise implementation strategies. You will respond to telephone calls, email, and otherwise support your client's requests for technical support. You will ensure appropriate SLAs are met. You will document, track and monitor the problem to ensure timely resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Use localization tools such as Okapi, Sed, and other localization tools to transform files for translation
  • Identify, reproduce, and isolate software defects
  • Report and track defects using defect management software
  • Work with customers to gather requirements, help with implementations, and troubleshoot installation issues
  • Work with product management, software developers, and test leads to validate requirements and introduce finished features into client premise or custom installation environments
  • Demonstrate our application to potential new clients and help devise implementation strategies

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years experience managing enterprise software accounts
  • Medium-to-high degree of computer and web literacy, Linux/Unix experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills and technical support troubleshooting skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Foreign language experience preferred
